In my new apartment i don't have any problems with the signal - so that isn't that big of deal. I can actually now use twitter through SMS. It's weird... I just tried activating it randomly and it worked instead of giving me the "This has not be enabled on your service plan" or something to that effect. The Busy signal still exists and is still a problem. If you get the chance, I'd say definitely get the iPhone or even better yet, the G1. Are the problems you mentioned enough that you're still frustrated with T-Mobile? I currently have the LG Rumor through Sprint, and am thinking of changing. I'm upgrade eligible in a month, and I'm not sure if I want to get a better phone from Sprint, or if I want to deal with AT&T and get an iPhone. So, it’s been a while now, what do you think?
